The decoration project for the Eni canteen continues. This poster will be printed at A2 on foam core to hang in the tea kitchen of the company’s Rio office. I was playing with the notion of minimalism: Just how few details are needed to read as a cup of coffee? I also wanted to get a bit of a retro, mid-century effect, similar to the shape of the entry sign. Unfortunately, the company’s recent adoption of Verdana as the corporate body font kind of destroys the vintage feel.
