The washing machine’s water control mechanism stopped working this morning, causing clean water to flood all over the floor. I called the service company, but the guy can’t be spared til tomorrow. Meanwhile, the zelador and I wrassled the machine out of its alcove and disconnected the hose, causing MORE clean water to flood the floor, and overwhelming the floor drain, which urps distinctly UNclean water all over the kitchen floor. R$120 and 4 hours later, the floor drain works again and I’ve cleaned the kitchen.
Tomorrow’s agenda: Waiting for the washer repair guy to show up “at any hour” between 8h and 18h.
