Corcovado: Living the good life in Rio de Janeiro
Yesterday dawned clear and sunny after a week of heavy rains. A day like this is great motivation to get in the pool for the morning workout!

Late Sunday afternoon and through the evening, there was an absolutely massive thunderstorm here, complete with howling winds and slashing lightning. Here the Cristo stands before the first downdrafts with pearlescent sunset in the sky behind the clouds.

Heavy rains throughout the day yesterday. I love when the clouds enshroud Corcovado and Cristo plays hide-and-seek.
