Day 50: Halfway through #the100dayproject

The 100-Day Project reached the halfway point on Sunday, and I am seriously wondering whether I should quit while I’m ahead and move on to more enticing projects. Part of the problem is that I was so worried about losing interest in a single topic, or struggling to make certain scheduled time frames (i.e., painting a sunset every day during sunset hour), that I didn’t design the project to be challenging enough. As a result, filling yet another page, or struggling with yet another unused medium in my supply drawer has come to seem profoundly boring. In addition, I have 2 much more immediately exciting projects that I’d like to work on, and with limited daily creative time and energy available, I’d rather spend that precious time on these other areas than on simply filling in another page to my sketchbook with rando images.

On the other hand, who wants to be a quitter? It’s time to redefine this project in a way that will work for me, or perhaps leave it on the sidelines, and try again next year.
